We always exert too much dahil akala natin mas mapapadali nito ang lahat -maaaring kailangan matapos ang work kaya mago-overtime, may deadline sa school na kailangan habulin o ‘di naman kaya may exam kinabukasan kaya hindi matutulog. We are now living in the 20th century where humans are like robots. Trabaho dito, gawa doon – kahit di na kaya ng ating katawan.
We tend to forget that we are all just human beings na kailangan din ng pahinga. Masyado tayong nao-overwork kaya hindi natin namamalayan na unti-unti na nating sinisira ang sarili nating katawan.
Even a rest for some minute is already good. It will bring a lot of benefits including improving your memory, boost your energy, and make your skin glow.
Let us remember what Benjamin Franklin once said – “He that can take rest is greater than he that can take cities.” Lahat ng bagay na sobra ay masama so give yourself – especially your body – a rest.
